The Staff Cloud Engineer will solve technical problems for the Cloud Operations, Engineering & Data teams and partner with teammates across the company.
Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining a continuous delivery framework, developing, building, and deploying products for customers.
The role involves evolving the technical cloud infrastructure to support product development and delivery, enhancing value delivery, developer efficiency, and service observability.
The position is remote within the United States.
Key responsibilities include improving the CI/CD framework, creating technology solutions, providing technical guidance, integrating security practices, evaluating new technologies, and ensuring cloud resources are optimized.
The Staff Cloud Engineer will also develop automation scripts for provisioning cloud resources and ensure compliance with security requirements.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, DevOps, and Service Reliability Engineering is required.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is necessary.
Technical expertise in public cloud infrastructure such as AWS using Terraform is essential.
Strong experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes is required.
Proficiency in log aggregation tools like SumoLogic, ELK, or Splunk is needed.
Coding skills in Python are strongly preferred, along with Bash scripting capabilities.
Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a sense of ownership, and personal accountability.
Excellent cross-team collaboration and communication skills are necessary.
Experience in data-intensive environments or highly regulated industries, such as healthcare, is a plus.

Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $183,000, with actual pay determined by experience and qualifications.
