  • The Staff Data Engineer will build and improve modern cloud-based data infrastructure using technologies such as Snowflake, Postgres, Fivetran, and Airflow.
  • Responsibilities include processing and managing diverse healthcare data through efficient ELT pipelines, providing technical leadership, owning end-to-end infrastructure releases, and contributing to a culture of testing and code quality.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering is required.
  • Experience working on data engineering teams and building highly scalable data analytics applications is necessary.
  • Deep experience with medical and pharmacy claims to drive operational workflows is essential.
  • Candidates should have experience with Apache Airflow, DBT, ETL/ELT tools, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
  • Competent Python skills are required.
  • Familiarity with production airflow environments and SQL expertise is necessary.
  • A passion for building quality products and a desire to own product development end-to-end is important.

Benefits:

  • The compensation package includes a base salary of $170,000 - $180,000, equity, and performance bonus potential for full-time employees.
