This role is for an experienced data engineering professional who will take a leadership position in shaping high-impact data infrastructure.
The Staff Data Engineer will architect and maintain scalable, reliable pipelines and cloud-based platforms to enable data-driven decisions across the organization.
Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams such as analytics, DevOps, and data science to build innovative solutions, integrate APIs, and optimize real-time and batch data flows.
The ideal candidate should have deep technical expertise, a mentorship mindset, and a passion for creating efficient, production-grade systems that support continuous innovation.
Key accountabilities include designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, building API integrations, leading architecture initiatives, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines, providing mentorship, and ensuring robust monitoring and documentation.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in data engineering or software development with a focus on data.
A minimum of 3+ years of technical leadership and mentorship experience is required.
Proven expertise in cloud-based streaming data infrastructure and large-scale distributed systems is essential.
Advanced proficiency in Python, Go, and cloud technologies is necessary.
Experience with tools such as DBT, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD platforms is required.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills are a must.
A Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
Experience with real-time data pipelines in a production environment is a strong plus.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $160,000–$230,000 based on experience and location.
