Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in data infrastructure or data engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL is required; experience with Java is a plus.
  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with DBT and Snowflake is necessary.
  • Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CDK or Terraform.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of AWS services, including Lambda, Glue, RDS, Step Functions, DMS, EMR, and EKS, is required.
  • Experience with big data platforms/tools such as Kafka, Hive, Spark, Hadoop, Cassandra, or Airflow is essential.
  • A strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases in production settings is necessary.
  • Candidates should have a solid grounding in algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are required, along with the ability to work in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and mentoring fellow engineers is preferred.

  • The base salary ranges from $221,000 to $237,000 for candidates in NY/NJ/CA, and $199,000 to $213,000 for candidates in other states.
