Remote Staff Full Stack Engineer

Description:

• LILT is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to work with a talented team on projects related to Lilt’s Linguist GUI, App Server, and backend systems.
• The role involves enabling linguists to deliver localized experiences and is considered high-visibility with significant growth opportunities.
• The position can be based in the Indianapolis, IN office in a hybrid capacity or fully remote in the Boston metropolitan area until offices open.
• Candidates must be curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a challenging entrepreneurial environment, with a willingness to experiment and iterate on processes.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Computer Science is required, with a preference for a Master's degree.
• Candidates must have 4+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack engineer.
• Experience leading an engineering team in a technical capacity is necessary, though not as a manager of people.
• Applicants should have experience working on large-scale, distributed software systems.
• Proficiency in React or other associated libraries, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML is required.
• Experience with backend technologies such as Java and Python is essential.
• Solid relational database knowledge and significant experience with very large MySQL installations are highly valued.
• Basic knowledge of NLP and machine learning techniques is also highly valued.
• Professional fluency in English is required.
