Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7+ years of Ruby on Rails experience is required, with deep knowledge of conventions and best practices.
  • Applicants should have 6+ years of experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern front-end development.
  • 4+ years of experience working with AWS cloud services and deployment pipelines is necessary.
  • Proficiency in relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and query optimization is required.
  • A strong understanding of architecture principles, design patterns, and testing frameworks is essential.
  • Candidates must demonstrate the ability to lead projects and mentor engineers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
  • Bonus points for experience with Next.js, Redis, Sidekiq, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), observability tools (DataDog, Sentry), and startup environments.
