The position is for a Staff Fullstack Engineer who will work remotely.
The role requires typescript developers who are comfortable operating independently within a small team.
Developers will take broad ownership over features, seeing concepts from conception to production deployment while collaborating between teams.
The company prefers an in-house first approach, striving to reduce external dependencies.

Remote workers located in Western Canada and the USA are preferred.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of development experience, with a stack-independent background.
Strong typescript skills are required.
Experience with OpenAPI and JSON Schema is a bonus.
Familiarity with GCP deployment and Kubernetes is also a plus.
A love for server-side rendering (SSR) is desirable.
Past experience mentoring junior developers is advantageous.
The role involves significant backend service management, but candidates are also expected to contribute to the frontend and may lead the development of new features in either area.
Candidates should be willing to pitch in and help out where needed, as the team consists of 10+ developers who wear many hats.
Benefits:
The company is open to both fixed-term contract and full-time permanent positions.
Compensation ranges from $150-250k (CAD) or $105-180k (USD) based on experience.
