Description:

Cacheflow is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to join their founding team.
The role involves working closely with the CEO and CTO, providing ownership to architect and build core parts of the platform.
The position offers a significant impact on technology, architecture, product, culture, and the company as a whole.
The technology stack includes AWS, Java, React, and TypeScript.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of work experience building scalable, distributed backend systems.
Experience with Java and the JVM is required.
Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
Experience in an early-stage startup is preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is necessary.
Solid coding practices are essential, including writing technical specifications, conducting peer code reviews, and performing testing (e.g., unit, integration, end-to-end).
Experience with Agile development methodologies is required.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
Candidates should demonstrate self-awareness, a positive “get it done” attitude, and empathy.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation concepts is required.
A passion for building great products and innovating in the fintech space is essential.
