LILT is seeking a Staff QA Engineer to join their team, focusing on the development and maintenance of automated test scripts for the LILT platform.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts that cover API testing, UI testing, and performance testing.
The Staff QA Engineer will collaborate closely with development and QA teams to understand requirements and identify areas for automation.
Responsibilities include executing automated tests, analyzing results, generating comprehensive reports, and triaging and resolving automated test failures.
The position also requires performing manual testing of new features and functionality, including exploratory and regression testing.
The engineer will document and maintain a database of known test cases for all application features and contribute to the software release process.
Clear communication of test results and findings to relevant teams is essential.
Requirements:
A solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies is essential for this position.
Candidates must have the ability to create effective test plans and test cases.
Proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript is required, as test cases will primarily be built on Playwright, Cypress, and JEST frameworks.
An understanding and proficiency with various automation frameworks, particularly Playwright, Cypress, and/or JEST, is crucial.
Experience with Git and GitHub is necessary.
Proficiency with Jenkins or other Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools is required.
Candidates should have an understanding of API testing concepts and experience with API testing tools like Postman.
Experience with load or performance testing using tools like Grafana K6 is preferred.
A basic understanding of an RDBMS and SQL is necessary.
