Remote Staff/Senior Software Engineer, Applied AI

• The position is for a Staff/Senior Software Engineer who will be crucial in building and scaling AI/LLM Agent software systems.
• The role involves owning an entire AI product vertical and working directly with a clinical team to deliver life-saving features.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3+ years of professional post-college backend engineering experience, with a proven track record of building and shipping cloud software applications.
• A strong background in backend engineering and applied AI is required.
• Experience in building cloud software applications (backend) and AI/ML features in production is essential.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top school is mandatory.
• Proven experience in bringing AI/ML features from conception to production is necessary.
• Strong skills in LLM Agent Design, Context Engineering, Embedding Systems, and Semantic/Keyword Search are required.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Go or Python is essential.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, particularly with data pipelines and APIs is required.
• A desire to work remotely, with a willingness to participate in in-person co-working days and happy hours in the San Francisco Bay Area is expected.

Benefits:

• The salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $250,000.
