  • The engineer will implement and manage monitoring systems to proactively identify issues in the production environment.
  • Developing and maintaining Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to ensure system reliability is essential.
  • The position requires implementing resilient design standards to minimize downtimes and building automations to improve system reliability.
  • Participation in an on-call rotation to respond to critical incidents and ensure system availability 24/7 is required.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, Production Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, or a similar role in high-scale environments is necessary.
  • Strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure, including operating systems, distributed systems, storage, networking, and security concepts is essential.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages is required.
  • Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or equivalents is necessary.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or equivalents, is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills are essential.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary.
  • Experience with observability tools such as NewRelic, DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar is required.
  • Experience with performance tuning, scalability, and fault protection in modern environments with cutting-edge architectures is necessary.
  • Knowledge of best security practices in cloud environments is required.
  • Bonus: Experience as an SRE in critical transaction environments, such as financial environments, is preferred.
