  • As a Full-Stack Staff Developer on the Demo and Sign Up team, you will enhance the experience for potential clients during their final steps before joining Jane.
  • You will lead initiatives to improve user acquisition, streamline the sign-up and demo experience, and establish frameworks for data-driven experimentation.
  • Your role includes mentoring developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable solutions that benefit practitioners using Jane.

  • You will revamp signup and demo processes to reduce friction and drop-off rates, thereby growing the client base and reducing churn.

  • Contribute to broader technical direction and decision-making alongside other technical leaders.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a full-stack developer, preferably with Ruby on Rails, but applicants with Java, C#, Python, and Go experience are also welcome.
  • Proven ability to take ownership and a strong bias toward action, with a focus on improving quality, productivity, performance, and security.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take initiative on ideas.
  • Comfortable collaborating closely with design and Product Management teams.
  • Skilled at navigating legacy systems and ambiguous problems to find quick solutions.
  • Excellent cross-team and cross-functional communication skills to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Experience working from hypotheses and refining details through iteration.
  • Proven experience in mentoring developers and creating a positive impact through education on best practices and design principles.
  • Capable of participating in medium-term vision setting and effectively presenting initiatives to stakeholders.
