Loopio is seeking a Staff Software Developer who enjoys solving complex challenges and is driven by curiosity.
The role involves building scalable, high-impact solutions and collaborating with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers.
Responsibilities include leading the development of end-to-end features for Loopioโs web platform, driving architectural decisions, and gathering customer feedback to create user-centric experiences.
The position requires mentoring and coaching other engineers, contributing to Loopioโs AI roadmap, and leading technical design discussions.
The work hours are from 11 am to 7:30 pm IST to accommodate collaboration across teams in Canada, the UK, and India.
The technology stack includes React, Elasticsearch, Node.js, PHP, Python, MySQL, Flask, Docker, Databricks, AWS, Chef, and Terraform.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 10+ years of professional software development experience.
A proven track record of designing and delivering complex software systems at scale is required.
Experience in leading architectural discussions and influencing cross-team technical decisions is essential.
Strong backend/API experience in PHP, Python, or Java is necessary, along with frontend development skills in React and JavaScript.
A solid understanding of database design and RDBMS such as MySQL is required.
Proficiency in designing and using RESTful APIs is necessary.
Candidates should have experience mentoring other engineers and prior experience as a technical lead is a plus.
Familiarity with AI technologies, particularly LLMs and modern AI APIs, is highly valuable.
A passion for improving software development productivity and experience in integrating with third-party systems is preferred.
Experience with Typescript, AWS, Cypress, and Elasticsearch is a plus.
