Responsibilities include designing and building scalable distributed solutions for customers and employees, evolving core banking platform systems, leading large-scale projects with a customer-first mindset, mentoring engineers, influencing technical strategy, and working cross-functionally with various teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 10+ years of industry experience in software development, leading large and strategic high-impact areas in business.
Technical leadership and ownership in bringing multiple engineering functions to production are required.
Experience with scalable, distributed systems and a test-first approach is necessary.
A deep understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures is essential.
Candidates should have experience in maintaining strong consistency in a distributed environment, working with transactional databases, and utilizing caching systems.
A deep understanding of software security practices is required.
Experience with testing methodologies, including contract testing and testing in vendor environments, is necessary.
Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $200,000 per year, based on function, level, and geographic location.
