NBCUniversal is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Project Keystone, which aims to transform key Finance processes across various domains including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash.
The role involves designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based enterprise solutions using SAP BTP tools to meet specific business needs.
Responsibilities include gathering business requirements from clients and stakeholders, collaborating to translate these into technical specifications, and architecting cloud-based applications on SAP BTP.
The engineer will code and implement applications using relevant SAP BTP development tools and develop integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems.
The position also requires mentoring and training application developers to foster a high-performing engineering team.
Requirements:
A degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline with an IT focus, or equivalent education and training is required.
Strong development skills in SAP BTP and its component tools, along with former SAP integration tools, are essential.
Candidates must have at least 8 years of SAP integration experience, including 4 years in a Team Lead role.
Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs for external system integration is necessary.
The ability to diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions is required.
A thorough understanding of database systems and SAP HANA technical requirements is needed.
Familiarity with tools such as Advance Event Mesh, API management, and Edge Integration is important.
Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies is required.
Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of change management procedures using cloud transport management are necessary.
