Description:

  • NBCUniversal is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Project Keystone, which aims to transform key Finance processes across various domains including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash.
  • The role involves designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based enterprise solutions using SAP BTP tools to meet specific business needs.
  • Responsibilities include gathering business requirements from clients and stakeholders, collaborating to translate these into technical specifications, and architecting cloud-based applications on SAP BTP.
  • The engineer will code and implement applications using relevant SAP BTP development tools and develop integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • The position also requires mentoring and training application developers to foster a high-performing engineering team.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline with an IT focus, or equivalent education and training is required.
  • Strong development skills in SAP BTP and its component tools, along with former SAP integration tools, are essential.
  • Candidates must have at least 8 years of SAP integration experience, including 4 years in a Team Lead role.
  • Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs for external system integration is necessary.
  • The ability to diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions is required.
  • A thorough understanding of database systems and SAP HANA technical requirements is needed.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Advance Event Mesh, API management, and Edge Integration is important.
  • Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of change management procedures using cloud transport management are necessary.
