Remote Staff Software Engineer

Description:

• The Staff Software Engineer at CertifID will serve as a Tech Lead, collaborating closely with the Engineering Manager and Product Managers.
• This role involves delivering high-quality work across various projects and feature development initiatives.
• The ideal candidate will guide product and systems management, ensuring platform scaling and implementing best practices.
• This position is influential in improving engineering practices but does not involve direct people management.
• The engineer will work on expanding the product as a platform and implementing a data-driven fraud prevention model.
• Responsibilities include delivering high-quality work, proposing solutions for system pain points, leading projects, providing coaching and mentoring, and self-managing day-to-day activities.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 8+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Strong communication, task management, and interpersonal skills are required.
• A demonstrable background in leading projects and feature development in a SaaS startup is essential.
• Experience as a Staff Engineer or Senior Engineer with proven expertise to transition into a Staff Engineer position is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience with security-focused projects and feature development.
• Expertise in programming languages such as C#, Java, C++, or similar is required.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP, along with CI/CD, automated testing, and release management, is necessary.
