  • The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, based in New York, NY or Santa Monica, CA.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 8+ years of relevant software or data engineering development experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with data governance, security, or compliance in enterprise environments is required.
  • Strong programming and analytical skills with expertise in Python, SQL, and infrastructure-as-code are necessary.
  • Experience with SOX compliance requirements and implementing technical controls for financial data is essential.
  • Candidates should have knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and best practices for handling PII.
  • Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, DataBricks, BigQuery, or Redshift is required.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline management and orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, or similar is necessary.
  • Experience with identity and access management systems, role-based access controls, and security frameworks is required.
  • Candidates should have experience with data lineage and metadata management tools.
