Responsibilities include making decisions on AWS and other foundational services to develop a system that processes large volumes of customer data.
The role requires making trade-offs between cost, performance, and scale while maintaining a focus on end-customer needs.
The engineer will design scalable and efficient distributed systems and build LLM-powered workflows.
Full stack feature development will utilize technologies such as Vue, Golang, Python 3, and AWS services.
The position involves providing technical leadership and mentoring to a growing team of engineers.
Collaboration with product leads, UX design leads, and technical leads is essential to create optimal solutions for customers.
Ensuring features are complemented with tests, monitoring, and security is a key responsibility.
The engineer will review code developed by team members and help define coding standards.
Requirements:
Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship for a work-authorized visa is not available.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent technical experience is required.
A minimum of 8 years of experience as a software engineer or in a relevant work role is necessary.
Proficiency in Java, Go, and/or Python in a production environment is required.
A strong understanding of software engineering patterns, microservices architecture, and principles is essential.
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of programming structures, algorithms, and multi-threading and parallelization concepts.
A curious and motivated attitude towards learning new technologies is expected.
The ability to adapt to different and changing languages and technologies is necessary.
Experience with full stack architectures and data science projects and tools is required.
Experience in customer-facing meetings is also necessary.
