Remote Staff Software Engineer - Innovation

• The Staff Software Engineer will be a key technical troubleshooter for the Cloud Suite team.
• This position reports to the team Manager and works closely with support and product management.
• Responsibilities include tackling hard technical problems in a SaaS product with agents installed across customer servers.
• The engineer will troubleshoot and coordinate with customers and support on product escalations.
• The role involves providing guidance to subordinates within established company policies.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to core technologies is essential.
• The engineer will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience working with customers on issues and escalations.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience running an Agile Sprint team or possessing very strong technical and personal skills is necessary.
• At least 7+ years of experience in technology-based organizations is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues are essential, with a proven track record of solving difficult technical problems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required, with the ability to work effectively with a globally-distributed team and mastery of the English language.
• A passion for providing high-quality solutions to customers, on-time, and on-budget is expected.
• Familiarity with web-based security principles and best practices is necessary.
• Preference for being hybrid in the Lehi, UT office, but remote work will be considered.
