The company is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead mobile app development across iOS (Swift) and React Native.
The role involves setting technical direction, designing and building reusable component libraries, and enhancing quality, performance, and accessibility.
The engineer will champion AI-assisted engineering to accelerate development and integrate AI-powered visualizations for clinicians and patients.
Responsibilities include owning mobile architecture, creating and maintaining reusable mobile component libraries, shipping AI-enabled features, raising engineering standards, mentoring engineers, leading cross-team initiatives, and collaborating with Data Science/Medical teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in building and shipping iOS apps in Swift and 3 years with React Native at scale.
Expertise in Swift/SwiftUI (and/or UIKit), Xcode tooling, Instruments, and Apple platform fundamentals is required.
Strong fundamentals in React Native, including bridge/native modules and performance profiling, are necessary.
A proven track record in designing reusable component systems and hands-on experience using AI to accelerate coding is essential.
Depth in mobile data flows, offline-first sync, error handling, and app state management is required.
A quality mindset with experience in unit/UI/e2e testing and security and privacy literacy suitable for healthcare contexts is necessary.
Clear technical communication skills, including design docs and stakeholder alignments, are required.
