You will support complex insurance product calculations, policy administration, and regulatory compliance.
The role involves building new platform capabilities for actuarial calculations, investment tracking, and policy value computations.
Effective written communication and teleconference skills are essential due to the remote work environment.
Requirements:
You must have 8+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience in building financial calculation engines or working with complex mathematical computations is required.
A strong understanding of insurance industry concepts, particularly life insurance products and their mechanics, is necessary.
You should have experience with actuarial calculations, present value computations, or financial modeling.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in financial services is essential.
Experience working with distributed systems that handle sensitive financial data is required.
Proficiency in relational databases and complex data modeling is necessary.
You must have experience designing APIs for financial systems.
Experience in building, deploying, operating, and troubleshooting mission-critical financial software is required.
