Remote Staff Software Engineer - Mobile (React Native)

• In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining features in our React Native codebase that power our mobile applications.
• You will architect and develop new features in our React Native codebase.
• You will partner with Product and other stakeholders to scope and execute on new initiatives.
• You will drive engineering initiatives and technical decisions that align with company goals.
• You will design scalable solutions for complex mobile projects across iOS and Android platforms.
• You will mentor engineers and establish mobile development best practices.
• You will write high-quality, tested code and conduct thorough code reviews.

Requirements:

• You must have 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on mobile development.
• You should have a strong track record of building production mobile applications at scale.
• You need to have expert-level proficiency in React Native and mobile development principles.
• You should possess strong knowledge of native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Java/Kotlin) development.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers is required.
• A deep understanding of mobile security fundamentals is necessary.
• You should have a passion for River's mission and technology.

• The salary range is between $200,000 - $250,000 based on skills and experience.
