  • Primary responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining APIs and services for internal and customer-facing applications.
  • You will write, test, and debug Python code to create and maintain server-side applications.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills are required, with the ability to rapidly troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Participation in an on-call rotation to ensure stellar uptime for our customers is required.
  • You will create and maintain documentation of all architecture design and analysis work.

Requirements:

  • You must have 8+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming language for maintaining Python servers and multi-threaded subscribers is required.
  • Experience maintaining production high-availability services with a distributed architecture is necessary.
  • You should have experience with major cloud providers like AWS and GCP.
  • Familiarity with monitoring services and observability tools like Datadog, NewRelic, Grafana, Prometheus, or equivalent is required.
  • The ability to explain your ideas clearly, give and receive feedback, and work well with team members is essential.
  • You must be able to bring structure to ambiguous requirements and rapidly iterate from prototype to production-grade implementation.
  • Producing code that is readable, testable, and understandable years later is a must.
  • You should take pride in the craft of software development, your unique views, and original ideas.
