Anvilogic is seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to lead and deliver critical technical initiatives in a fast-growing enterprise cybersecurity environment.

The engineer will collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional teams, guiding development practices, mentoring engineers, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with broad influence across multiple teams and projects, ideal for engineers passionate about solving complex, distributed systems challenges in an AI-driven cybersecurity platform.
Key accountabilities include leading architecture design and technical specifications, developing and maintaining robust services and REST APIs, performing thorough code reviews, mentoring senior engineers, collaborating with product managers, driving engineering standards, and ensuring efficient project delivery.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8+ years of software development experience with leadership in large-scale, distributed systems.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Java, or Go, is required.
Experience with Python 3 service development frameworks (FastAPI, Flask), data modeling (Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, Alembic), and testing (Pytest) on AWS is necessary.
Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and operating REST APIs at scale is essential.
Candidates should possess deep knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including schema design and migration management.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, ECS, EKS) and containerized deployments is required.
Familiarity with software design principles, architectural patterns, and best practices is expected.
Experience in leading engineering projects, managing resources, and meeting delivery deadlines is necessary.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong team collaboration are required.
Some experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), including standard patterns (Agents, RAG, Tools) and frameworks, is preferred.
