Flex is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Risk Platform team, which is responsible for implementing platforms and APIs for risk management.
The team focuses on mitigating credit and fraud risks while enhancing app accessibility and preventing misuse.
Projects include a core decision platform for enterprise decision management, event data stream ingestion for real-time fraud rules, and advanced A/B testing capabilities.
Responsibilities include building decision platforms and machine learning solutions, designing high-scale APIs and distributed systems, and collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to launch new features.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8+ years of professional software development experience.
A minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java is required.
Candidates should have 4+ years of experience with React or React Native and TypeScript.
Experience in building high-quality mobile and web UIs to specifications is essential.
Proficiency in Java frameworks and tools such as Spring, Gradle, JUnit, and JVM tuning is necessary.
Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture, REST APIs, Message Queues, and scalable architectures is required.
Familiarity with React Native and React ecosystems, including Hooks, Components, Context, and Redux, is needed.
Experience with AWS services and containerization tools is essential.
