The AI Futures team accelerates the adoption of generative AI across the platform by designing and building powerful, reusable demos, agents, and proof-of-concepts.
As a Staff Software Engineer – AI Futures, you will rapidly prototype and deliver production-quality demo experiences that scale across business units.
You will work with cutting-edge AI capabilities and own the full lifecycle delivery, from design and integration to refinement and reuse.
Responsibilities include building high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes.
You will collaborate with product owners to understand detailed requirements and take ownership of your code from design to delivery of high-quality products.
The role involves designing user-friendly software that allows customers to extend and customize functionality to meet their specific needs.
You will contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite.
Mentoring colleagues and promoting knowledge-sharing is also a key aspect of this role.
Requirements:
You must have experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
A proven ability to build high-quality, scalable, and reusable demo solutions that showcase GenAI capabilities in real-world use cases is required.
Experience in prompt engineering and GenAI is essential.
Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Cursor and Windsurf is a plus.
You should be able to work closely with field, product, and engineering stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into demo assets and proof-of-concepts.
The ability to create parameterized or templatized demos that reduce lift for future engagements and support internal reuse is necessary.
You will lead the design and development of AI-powered agents, workflow solutions, and customer-centric scenarios across ITOM, CSM, and beyond.
Actively contributing to the formation of best practices, patterns, and technical playbooks through hands-on work is expected.
Staying current with new AI features and rapidly prototyping integrations to validate value and usability is required.
You should be able to mentor and collaborate with peers across the team to accelerate team velocity and knowledge sharing.

The position offers a base pay range of $147,300 - $257,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits.
