This position is for a Staff Software Engineer at ThisWay Global, a remote role available to U.S. applicants only.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 10+ years of software engineering experience, with expertise in designing and scaling distributed or parallel systems.
Proven leadership experience as a senior individual contributor in end-to-end system design and implementation is required.
Strong proficiency in Rust or a deep background in systems programming with a willingness to learn Rust quickly is necessary.
Experience with parallel programming technologies such as OpenMP, Unified Parallel C, OpenMPI, or CUDA is essential.
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, ownership-driven mindset are required.
Effective communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced R&D environment are necessary.
Candidates must be U.S.-based and authorized to work in the United States.
