  • The engineer will lead system and process improvements within the team and across engineering.
  • Participation in on-call rotations to support production systems is expected.
  • Mentoring, sponsoring, and empowering team members to foster growth and collaboration is a key responsibility.
  • The engineer will drive strategic planning alongside engineering and product leadership.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 8+ years of experience delivering production-quality code in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong distributed systems design skills and instincts are required.
  • Proven ability to manage large cross-functional projects across engineering, product, and operations teams is essential.
  • Candidates should demonstrate the ability to turn complex requirements into scalable software solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to empathy and inclusion, are necessary.
  • A growth mindset and continuous learning orientation are important for this role.
  • An interest in the fintech and payments space is preferred.
  • Expertise in Python or similar backend technologies for distributed systems is required.
