The Staff Software Quality Engineer will maintain existing automation test frameworks.
This role involves collecting and reporting quality metrics from test execution.
The engineer will work with developers to design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automate them.
Responsibilities include creating comprehensive test plans, executing them, and automating the processes.
The engineer will support engineering organizations in troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and development/test environments.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in quality assurance or application development is required, along with leading quality efforts within a scrum team of 4-6 QE engineers.
Proficiency in Java programming with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and JavaScript is necessary.
Experience with tools such as Eclipse, Jenkins, Maven, and Git is required.
Candidates should have experience with different testing techniques (e.g., performance, unit, integration, automated) and understand their strengths and weaknesses.
An advanced working knowledge of tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) is essential for assisting with daily tasks.
Experience in driving cross-team technical discussions with an understanding of SDLC concepts is also required.
