Limit Break is seeking a Staff Unity Engineer to lead the development of a mid-core, 3D mobile game from concept to reality.
The role involves collaborating with a small team to create and refine the game's prototype while ensuring alignment with executive stakeholders.
As the project progresses, the engineer will scale the team from pre-production to full production, working with leads and directors across various disciplines.
Responsibilities include providing technical direction, making architectural decisions, writing and reviewing code, optimizing performance, and overseeing the development process.
The engineer will lead the design and implementation of the Unity 3D game project, collaborate with design leads, and improve processes and best practices for game development.

Requirements:
A B.S. (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Candidates should have 8-10 years of software engineering experience, ideally in live service mobile games.
A minimum of 5 years of experience with Unity 3D game development is necessary.
Strong initiative and ownership are essential traits for the candidate.
Experience in building a game from prototype to launch, preferably with Unity, is required.
Candidates must be comfortable working across a range of technologies and have strong foundations in system architecture and software design.
Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership, are crucial.
