Mistral AI is seeking a Strategic Cloud Partner Lead for the United States to join their US Partner Go-To-Market (GTM) team as part of their global expansion.
The role involves managing and executing the Microsoft Azure partnership within the US.
Responsibilities include building strategic partnership plans, negotiating partnership agreements, and developing co-selling activities with Microsoft Azure.
The candidate will own end-to-end responsibilities including financial outcomes, technical integrations, and joint marketing campaigns.
The role requires expanding partnerships within Microsoft to new product teams and aligning partner executive stakeholders with Mistral executives.
The candidate will execute Microsoft plans to achieve pipeline and revenue results, serve as a point of escalation for field conflicts, and lead partnership performance analysis.
The position involves providing training and support to Microsoft partners to promote Mistral's products effectively.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams and Mistral’s GTM team is essential to drive pipeline and advance opportunities.
The candidate will align Microsoft Azure’s US regional sales teams with Mistral’s sales counterparts and facilitate regular meetings.
The role also includes working with Mistral's engineering and product teams to enhance customer experience on Microsoft Azure's platform.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is required; an MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in Go-To-Market roles, with at least 5 years in partner management, business development, or sales roles is necessary.
Deep knowledge and past experience in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, particularly with Azure AI teams, is essential.
A strong global network within Microsoft's partner organizations is ideally preferred.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
A strong understanding of the technology or software industry, focusing on Cloud partnerships, is necessary.
The ability to travel as needed to meet with Cloud partners and attend industry events is required.
Strong analytical skills to monitor and analyze partnership performance and provide actionable insights are essential.
The candidate should be a builder and self-starter, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
