The Strategic Solutions Engineer will partner with Sales Directors to act as both a business consultant and technical expert.
This role involves guiding prospective customers through the discovery, design, and validation of Cresta’s AI-powered solutions.
The engineer will connect with customer stakeholders to understand their business goals, technical environments, and operational challenges.
Responsibilities include uncovering business objectives, leading technical discovery sessions, and designing tailored product demonstrations.
The engineer will own the technical design and delivery of proof-of-value engagements and run ROI workshops.
The role requires staying current on emerging technologies and serving as a technical liaison between Sales, Product, and Engineering.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in customer-facing roles, including 1–3 years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or consulting within the enterprise software or contact center industry.
A deep knowledge of contact center solutions, including telephony architecture and CCaaS platforms, is essential.
Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, particularly large and small language models, is required.
Experience with real-time systems, CRM tools, analytics platforms, and SaaS solution architecture is necessary.
The ability to design and communicate complex solutions clearly to both technical and business audiences is crucial.
A consultative mindset with a proven track record of leading strategic conversations and influencing stakeholders is valued.
