  • The role involves providing world-class service and support for clients, troubleshooting and diagnosing IT issues, and assisting in the monitoring and maintenance of computer systems and networks.
  • Main accountabilities include ensuring customer calls are promptly attended to, maintaining high standards of information recording, managing response levels to meet customer expectations, troubleshooting IT issues efficiently, completing technical documentation, and mentoring colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience on a service desk is necessary.
  • Experience in a managed services environment is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in customer support, including phone and email communication, is required.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Desktop OS/Server OS and troubleshooting is essential.
  • Experience with business networks and troubleshooting them is necessary.
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware such as laptops, desktops, servers, and peripherals is required.
  • Knowledge of antivirus management, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting, is necessary.
  • Experience with backups/disaster recovery, Microsoft Azure, mail filtering, virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), and scripting/automation is desirable.
  • Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, effective communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
