Description:

  • Afresh is looking for a Support Engineer to join their Deep Tech Squad, providing top-tier support and guidance to customers.
  • The role involves handling complex customer inquiries related to Afresh solutions, troubleshooting, and investigating issues using knowledge of SQL and databases.
  • The Support Engineer will act as a key liaison for specific customers and be part of an on-call rotation to ensure timely support.
  • Responsibilities include resolving tickets with clear communication, identifying trends and root causes, monitoring alerts, and advocating for customer issues.
  • The engineer will work on higher-priority issues, conduct ticket quality assurance, and investigate customer problems involving data integrity and machine learning.
  • The role also includes building and improving debugging protocols and understanding customer needs to enhance their experience.
  • The Support Engineer will grow with the organization, potentially specializing in specific Partner needs and training future teammates.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 2+ years of experience as a Support Engineer, data analyst, application specialist, or similar role.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience working with complex databases and SQL is required, as this role is SQL-heavy.
  • At least 1+ years of experience in technical customer support is preferred.
  • A BSc in IT, Computer Science, or a similar field is required.
  • Strong writing and communication skills are necessary to articulate complex solutions to non-technical individuals.
  • Candidates should have experience handling high-urgency incidents with a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, along with acute attention to detail, are essential.
  • Candidates should be organized, self-motivated, and comfortable operating within ambiguity.
  • Experience in retail, supply chain, or grocery is strongly preferred but not required.
