Description:

You will own critical components of Backpack’s backend infrastructure written in Rust.
You will design and implement low-level systems with an emphasis on safety and performance.
You will collaborate closely with product, infrastructure, and security teams to build robust and reliable systems.
You will proactively identify bottlenecks, security issues, and performance improvements.

Requirements:

You must have at least 3+ years of experience writing production-level Rust.
You should have a deep understanding of systems programming, including memory management, concurrency, and networking.
You need to have experience building high-performance services and tooling from scratch.
You must be obsessive about code quality, performance, and security.
You should be very fluent in English.
