Remote Team Lead Data Core

Description:

• You will shape the data landscape of a rapidly growing SaaS scale-up from the ground up and create real business impact.
• You will build a strong data team, expanding the current Data Core Team from 3 to 4-5 members, and develop a robust data culture within the company.
• You will define the data roadmap and set new standards for data-driven decisions in departments such as Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience.
• You will translate complex requirements into concrete solutions and actively participate when necessary.
• Your analyses and dashboards will determine the success of our go-to-market strategies, from lead generation to churn prediction.
• You will develop robust, scalable data pipelines and models with your team, ideally using dbt, which will serve as the foundation for all analytics.
• You will coordinate complex data projects across departments, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

Requirements:

• You have successfully built and led data teams, ideally in a SaaS environment.
• You possess technical expertise in SQL and cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) as well as modern BI tools; knowledge of dbt is a significant plus.
• You have an analytical mindset, think solution-oriented, and can approach complex data challenges in a structured manner.
• You understand how data creates real business value and can engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
• You have a hands-on mentality and are not afraid to write code or conduct complex analyses yourself.
• You can translate data into understandable stories and help departments work in a data-driven manner.
• Knowledge of Python/R is a nice-to-have.
