The company is looking for an experienced Tech/Team Lead of the Web team to lead the evolution of Planner 5Dās core web platform.
This role involves hands-on development, leading a high-impact back-end team, and collaborating with the CTO and product managers.
Responsibilities include architecting and implementing complex features using PHP/Symfony backend and TypeScript, building well-engineered features, delivering roadmap features, and mentoring engineers.
The position requires working as a Contractor under a B2B service agreement.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 10+ years of full-stack development experience in PHP and JavaScript/TypeScript.
A minimum of 2 years in a leadership role as a Tech Lead or Team Lead is required.
Proficiency in backend technologies such as PHP 7.4 / 8.1, Symfony framework, SQL (SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL), Redis, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Docker, and Git is necessary.
Frontend skills should include JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Three.js, SVG rendering, Webpack, WebSocket, and browser-based performance optimization.
Experience with payment systems and APIs like PayPal, Stripe, and Apple/Google payment processing is essential.
Knowledge of testing frameworks such as PHPUnit for backend and Jest for frontend is required.
Candidates should know how to write clean and maintainable code and understand best practices in security, performance, and data structure.
A good understanding of server infrastructure and web protocols (HTTP, Web Sockets) is necessary.
Nice to have: Understanding of mathematics, geometry, and 2D/3D graphics technologies.
