We are seeking a hands-on Tech Lead for our well-funded e-commerce fulfilment startup.
At Bezos, our vision is to Deliver Happiness: for our team, for the end consumers, for the e-commerce sellers, and for our logistics partners.
E-commerce sales are driven by consumers who increasingly buy more online and the emergence of small and medium (SME) online sellers who sell through multiple channels (Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Instagram).
Today, these SME online sellers are falling behind large retailers due to the complexity of logistics and are ignored by large incumbent logistics service providers.
We are on a mission to change that by building a next-generation fulfilment-as-a-service platform.
Bezos.ai develops a cloud-based platform that empowers small and medium-sized online sellers to compete with large retailers.
By connecting with existing fulfilment and logistics providers (in the UK, Europe, and the US), we offer fast, reliable solutions that simplify operations and lower costs.
With Bezos.ai, SMEs can efficiently scale their businesses both locally and globally—a smarter approach to logistics.
We’re looking for a Technical Lead to drive the architecture, team growth, and delivery of our core platform.
You’ll be our engineering leader and an integral part of the senior leadership team, shaping the company’s technical roadmap while setting the engineering culture.
This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role in a fast-moving startup.
You’ll balance writing code, mentoring engineers, shaping technical decisions, and aligning engineering with company strategy.
Requirements:
You must have 10+ years of software development experience, ideally with 2+ years in a startup environment.
Strong backend fundamentals and experience with Go, AWS, PostgreSQL, microservices, and serverless infrastructure are required.
Previous experience in e-commerce, logistics, or related platform/product development is a big plus.
You should be a pragmatic builder who can turn complex systems into simple, scalable architecture.
Experience growing or managing teams, including mentorship, hiring, and fostering team culture, is necessary.
A product-oriented mindset is essential; you should care about solving real user problems, not just writing code.
You must be a strong communicator who can translate technical concepts into business and product conversations.
Curiosity about emerging tech, especially AI/ML tools that improve team productivity or platform features, is important.
Good vibes, collaboration, and being great to work with are essential qualities we value.
Benefits:
You will be part of a mission-driven team that is changing the landscape of e-commerce logistics.
The role offers the opportunity to shape the technical roadmap and engineering culture of a growing startup.
You will have the chance to mentor and grow a team of engineers, contributing to their professional development.
The position allows for hands-on involvement in writing production code and making impactful technical decisions.
You will work in a collaborative environment that values good vibes and teamwork.
