Techstra is seeking a highly skilled Technical Data Analyst/Engineer with deep expertise in MicroStrategy and strong business strategy acumen.
This hybrid role combines data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions, dashboards, and analytical tools that empower teams with actionable insights.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining scalable reporting services using MicroStrategy BI / Strategy One, including dashboards, reports, documents, and cubes.
The candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements, translate them into specifications, and implement analytical solutions aligned with strategic goals.
Responsibilities also include designing data engineering requirements and standards to support data ingestion, transformation, and integration from multiple data sources.
The role involves performing complex data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy, reliability, and quality of data insights.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams including product, operations, finance, and engineering is essential to deliver actionable semantic layer objects and self-service reporting services.
The candidate will optimize existing BI architecture and workflows to improve performance and user experience.
Driving data governance initiatives and helping enforce best practices for data quality, metadata, security, and accessibility is also a key responsibility.
The role requires creating and maintaining documentation for BI solutions, data models, and processes.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
The candidate must have 10 years of experience with business intelligence and reporting.
A minimum of 7 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency with MicroStrategy / Strategy One (including Architect, Developer, and Web modules) is necessary.
The candidate should have 7 years of experience analyzing data and deriving insights that deliver value towards business outcomes.
At least 5 years of healthcare experience is required.
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) is essential.
A solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and data modeling is required.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data lake/warehouse solutions is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills are necessary.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is essential.
