The Technical Lead will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.
This role involves managing multiple environmental consulting projects from inception to completion.
The candidate will oversee and conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Limited Site Investigations (LSIs), and soil and groundwater investigations.
The Technical Lead will assist clients in understanding and quantifying environmental liabilities, making recommendations for required remedial work, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The position includes producing technical reports.
Requirements:
A S.E. or B.S. in civil, geotechnical, environmental, chemical, mechanical engineering, geology, biology, chemistry, or a related field is required.
The candidate must have 7+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP), Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP)/Corrective Action (CA), Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, Stormwater management, Spill Prevention, Health and Safety, and Industrial Hygiene Surveys is necessary.
The candidate should have experience in preparing project work plans and executing approved cleanup programs to completion, including managing field personnel.
Experience working with Texas industrial facilities to obtain necessary permits for regulated activities and reporting to the TCEQ is desired.
Registration as a professional engineer or professional geoscientist in the State of Texas, or the ability to become registered based on reciprocity, is preferred.
The candidate must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, is required.
Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as needed is necessary.
Professional licenses such as Licensed Site Remediation Professional, Professional Engineer, or Professional Geologist are desirable.
40-hour OSHA training is required.
A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are mandatory.
The ability to travel as needed, depending on project assignments, is required.
