As a Technical Lead at MDS, you will maintain and improve internal systems that support a community of over 650 e-commerce entrepreneurs.
You will report to the COO and be responsible for supporting automation workflows, troubleshooting technical issues, and managing tool integrations across platforms like Go High Level, Airtable, and Zapier.
You will be the first point of contact for technical issues, handling support tickets, writing lightweight scripts, managing webhooks and APIs, and ensuring the tech stack runs smoothly.
This role requires someone who is technically capable, detail-oriented, and passionate about streamlining operations.
You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal issues, maintaining a clean log of incoming tickets and ensuring timely resolution.
You will build and maintain automations using tools like Make and Zapier, monitor error alerts, and ensure workflows run smoothly across departments.
You will develop custom scripts to support automation edge cases and assist in prototypes.
You will act as a superuser across ClickUp, Airtable, Softr, G-Suite, and Slack, assisting with setup and maintenance.
You will keep SOPs and internal documentation up to date using tools like Figma and Lucidchart.
You will leverage AI tools to optimize workflows and reduce repetitive work.
You will maintain structured, accurate data across platforms and support reporting and dashboard creation.
You will act as the QA checkpoint for launches and programs, testing workflows and automations.
You will help manage user permissions and ensure secure infrastructure across key platforms.
You will own the maintenance of tools like the AI-powered Facebook Scraper.
You will collaborate in regular meetings and projects to ensure tech solutions align with organizational needs.
Requirements:
You must have 3+ years of technical operations experience, supporting internal systems in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
You should possess hands-on technical skills, including proficiency with automation platforms, internal tooling, and light coding/scripting.
Familiarity with AI platforms such as ChatGPT or Claude is required, along with the ability to integrate them into workflow automation.
You should have experience documenting SOPs and building process maps to maintain operational clarity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to translate technical language for non-technical teammates.
A collaborative and proactive mindset is necessary, with the ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Ops, or a related field is preferred, though relevant certifications or demonstrable skills are also welcomed.
