The position is for a Technical Lead in Security Engineering, based in Boston, MA, with opportunities for team expansion in different countries.
The role involves leading and mentoring the Security Engineering team, conducting security assessments across cloud, applications, and networks, and implementing, configuring, and managing various security tools and technologies.
Key responsibilities include driving cloud security strategy for AWS workloads, leading security architecture reviews, overseeing security event monitoring and incident investigations, partnering with GRC teams for audits, and developing security controls and automated workflows.
The candidate is expected to stay updated with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, compliance trends, and new technologies.
Requirements:
The candidate must have 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Security Engineering, Cloud Security, or related roles, with at least 2+ years in a lead or mentorship capacity.
Proven expertise is required in CrowdStrike EDR & SIEM, CrowdStrike CSPM, SOAR platforms, Nessus for vulnerability scanning, AWS security services, AppSec tools like BurpSuite, and network security with Palo Alto Firewalls.
Experience supporting GRC programs and leading external audits for ISO 27001, HIPAA, and FedRAMP is necessary.
A strong understanding of security principles, incident response, and secure system design is essential.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration and working knowledge of Windows/macOS is required.
The candidate should possess excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
The individual must be organized, detail-oriented, trustworthy, proactive, and persuasive, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent are preferred.
