The Technical Services Engineer’s primary role is to serve as a technical advisor and champion for Anyscale customers.
This position plays a crucial role in the customers’ post-sale journey by helping them to onboard, adopt, and grow on Anyscale.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving open customer tickets and driving consumption.
The role requires close coordination with engineering teams to debug complex issues.
This position is ideal for those who are technically curious and passionate about ML/AI, LLM, vLLM, and the role of AI in next-generation applications.
The role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while building a new segment in this space.
Key tasks include being a solutions architect, owning customer issues end-to-end, participating in a follow-the-sun customer support model, tracking open customer bugs and feature requests, managing customer workloads, contributing to internal tools and documentation, providing feedback, and building strong relationships with technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, with at least 2+ years in a dynamic, fast-paced, startup-like environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer needs simultaneously are required.
Experience as a machine learning engineer is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in training, fine-tuning, and inference/serving of LLMs.
Knowledge of one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
A strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, and eagerness to acquire new skills and do new things is expected.
Willingness to uplevel the knowledge and skills of peers through mentorship, training, and shadowing is important.
