The role involves architecting across platforms including cloud-native (Azure, AWS), hybrid/multi-cloud, and edge environments.
You will shape proposals by blending technical depth with narrative clarity to ensure evaluators understand the mission impact of your design.
Mentoring and influencing cross-functional staff to understand the significance of the solution to mission and customer success is essential.
You will lead proofs-of-concept and technical demos to validate innovative approaches and establish customer trust.
The role requires bridging technical and financial viability by collaborating with pricing teams to ensure solutions are defensible and compelling.
Staying ahead of trends and monitoring emerging technologies, federal standards, and mission requirements is crucial to inject innovation into solutions.
You will develop and mature internal capabilities by building reusable solution assets, frameworks, and delivery tools.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree or recent commensurate experience is required.
The ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance is necessary.
A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in IT is required, with at least five (5) years in a Solution Architect role for Federal Customers.
Proven success in federal proposal development with a track record of shaping winning solutions is essential.
Strong expertise in Azure Platform Services and product evolution, including AI, OpenAI, and Power Platform, is required.
Mastery of federal compliance standards such as FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST is necessary for driving design.
Hands-on experience with DevSecOps pipelines, including Jenkins, Terraform, OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, GitHub, and Nexus, is required.
A strong understanding of Zero Trust and enterprise cybersecurity architectures is essential.
Exceptional communication skills are necessary to translate technical depth into accessible and persuasive narratives.
Proficiency with solution design tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, and Project is required.
Benefits:
The position offers a competitive salary range of $160,000 to $180,000 a year.
