Remote Treasury Staff Software Engineer

• As a Staff Software Engineer on the Treasury Platform team, you will be a top engineering leader and domain expert, leading the technical direction of your team.
• This role involves significant mentorship, supporting the growth of other engineers and team leaders while collaborating with cross-functional partners in product, design, and quality assurance.
• You will design and architect complex systems, ensure high quality in team deliverables, and own monitoring and resolving production issues.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required; a Master's degree is a plus.
• You must have 8+ years of relevant tech industry experience with a proven track record of independence and technical leadership.
• Experience as an independent team leader and mentor of up to senior contributors is necessary.
• Expertise in object-oriented programming (OOP) such as Python, Java, or similar server-side languages is required.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like React, CSS frameworks, HTML, and JavaScript is essential.
• Experience with Relational Databases like Postgres or MySQL, as well as SQL database schema design and query optimization, is required.
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies (AWS preferred) and Container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes) is necessary.
• Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Server is a plus but not required.
• Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as you will be operating in a fast-paced startup environment.
