Description:

• Fluency is seeking a hands-on Triage Software Engineer to join a dynamic, fast-paced team focused on delivering a leading enterprise software platform.
• The role involves analyzing incoming issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions while collaborating closely with engineering and client services teams.
• Responsibilities include triaging incoming software bugs and issues that cannot be resolved by support teams.
• The engineer will perform forensic analysis of code to identify root causes and implement basic fixes.
• Collaboration with engineering and client services teams is essential to distribute tasks and resolve issues efficiently.
• The engineer will plan and execute fixes while performing stress and load testing on applications.
• Building and maintaining automated tests to detect issues proactively and reduce risk in live releases is a key responsibility.
• The role requires working with large datasets to solve complex technical problems and support platform stability.
• Continuous improvement of development processes and operational workflows is expected.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 1+ years of professional experience with Java development.
• Knowledge of data-driven development methodologies and iterative development cycles is required.
• Experience in building web applications and/or APIs is necessary.
• Familiarity with modern web technologies such as JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS, Java, Spring Boot, and AWS services (Aurora, S3, Elastic Beanstalk) is essential.
• A passion for working collaboratively with engineering, product, and marketing teams is important.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are required.
• Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback are necessary.
• Experience with the digital advertising industry is a plus.
