Description:

  • Kentro is seeking a UI/UX Developer with expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Experience Cloud, and modern front-end engineering.
  • The role involves building secure, responsive, and accessible interfaces for federal end-users, supporting both online and offline functionality through integrations with Pulsar.
  • Responsibilities include building and styling UI components using LWC, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • The developer will collaborate with designers and product owners to convert wireframes into responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
  • The position requires integrating front-end logic with Salesforce backend (Apex), MuleSoft APIs, and Tableau visual components.
  • The developer will implement and optimize UI experiences for both connected and offline scenarios and ensure all designs meet 508 accessibility, security, and performance requirements.
  • The role also involves contributing to UI standards and reusable component libraries within a scaled low-code environment.
  • This position can be performed remotely within the United States, preferably supporting Eastern Time working hours, with a preference for candidates in the Washington, DC Metro Area.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3+ years of front-end development experience, including 2+ years with Salesforce LWC and Experience Cloud.
  • Strong skills in responsive UI/UX design, usability, and accessibility (WCAG, Section 508) are required.
  • A working knowledge of Java, especially for interfacing with APIs and legacy logic, is necessary.
  • Experience working with Agile teams, story grooming, and rapid iteration cycles is essential.
  • Candidates should have experience in federal consulting, preferably supporting Homeland Security or Civilian programs.
  • Required certifications include Salesforce Platform Developer I and Salesforce Associate, with a UX Design Certification (NN/g, CXS, or equivalent) being a nice to have.
  • Familiarity with Pulsar or other offline-first design principles, experience with MuleSoft API responses and embedded Tableau visualizations, and exposure to Figma, Adobe XD, or design systems used in low-code environments are preferred.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
