The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gameplay Engineer to join their Brighton studio and contribute to the development of the live title, NFL Rivals.
The Gameplay Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining in-game mechanics and UI for a Unity-based game, under the guidance of the Senior Engineering Manager.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in gameplay engineering, HUD UI implementation, and client-server architecture, particularly in a Unity game development environment.
The role involves implementing design concepts as functional gameplay mechanics, optimizing gameplay for performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, on-time deliveries.
Requirements:
A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Candidates must have proven experience as a Gameplay Engineer in Unity game development, with at least 3 years of gameplay experience.
Proficiency in C# and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming is essential.
Knowledge of 3D Vector math and common data structures is required.
Experience with Unity’s scripting API, editor tools, and features is necessary.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are needed, along with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
