The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a broad range of AWS services and a proven track record of delivering complex cloud-native applications.
Experience in the U.S. Healthcare domain is highly desirable.
Key responsibilities include architecting end-to-end cloud solutions using AWS for enterprise-grade applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
The role involves leading the design and development of solutions using services such as EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, Cognito, OpenSearch, S3, Quicksight, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and Glue.
The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, engineers, and business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
Providing technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to engineering teams is essential.
The role requires driving best practices in infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and automation.
Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards, especially in relation to HIPAA, HITRUST, and U.S. Healthcare data, is a key responsibility.
The candidate will evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve solution delivery and reliability.
Requirements:
The candidate must have 10+ years of experience in software architecture and enterprise solution design.
Extensive experience with AWS is required, including hands-on expertise with services such as EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, Cognito, OpenSearch, S3, Quicksight, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and Glue.
Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, and Node.js are necessary.
A deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, event-driven systems, microservices, and serverless computing is essential.
The candidate must have a strong understanding of security best practices in the cloud.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), preferably using CloudFormation or similar tools, is required.
An AWS Certified Solutions Architect β Professional (or Associate with significant enterprise experience) is necessary.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to lead discussions and influence decisions at all levels of the organization.
