Hike is seeking a UX Researcher Intern to join their team remotely, contributing to the Rush Gaming Universe.
The intern will conduct both secondary and primary research, focusing on Real-Money-Gaming ecosystems.
Responsibilities include staying updated with new tools and industry advancements in user experience research (UXR).
The intern will manage projects by coordinating with UXR team members and stakeholders, owning project operations, and extracting user data from analytics teams.
The role involves providing support to senior researchers in various projects, including moderation, secondary research, survey design, and meticulous note-taking.
The intern will extract key insights from research and present actionable findings to internal stakeholders.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams (product, analyst, and design teams) to define research goals and objectives is essential.
Proactive communication with stakeholders and senior researchers is required to keep them informed about ongoing UXR developments.
Requirements:
A minimum of 6 months of experience in user research, with a focus on mobile-first offerings; experience in gaming ecosystems is a plus.
The ability to identify UXR objectives and suitable research methods to deliver actionable insights and conduct research independently.
Excellent observation and synthesis skills, with the ability to connect disparate information.
Strong communication skills to articulate and present research findings in a simple yet persuasive manner.
The ability to operate effectively within stringent timelines, showcasing exceptional project management skills while handling multiple stakeholder expectations.
